Name that Christmas Movie Contest

What is your favorite Christmas movie? I checked four websites and found four quite different lists.

The challenge of this contest: Write a story or a poem based on the words listed below. All the words are found in the top 10-11 best Christmas movies of all time from Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB, Esquire, and/or Good Housekeeping.

The rules:
1. You must use AT LEAST ten of the listed words. There's a good variety of nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
2. Either fiction, nonfiction, or poetry is acceptable.
3. Prose must be a minimum of 500 words.
4. Poetry should be 40 lines maximum.
5. Highlight the chosen words in the text and include them in your author notes.
6. Your entry doesn't have to be about Christmas.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 55.00 member dollars. There are 7 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

The voting will begin after the committee determines that all entries qualify and disqualify those that do not. This contest is open to all members. Past contest winners can join the contest. A voting booth will be created shortly after the deadline is reached. At that time all participants will be contacted so they can vote.

    Entries create original poems and stories out of words from favorite Christmas movie titles.

If you plan to write for this contest reserve a spot. There are a limited number of entries. A vote by writers will determine the winner. The decision is final. All members that submit a work are encouraged to vote. One entry per person. New entries to the site only. If you already posted a work on FanStory.com that work is not eligible for a contest.
