mirror contest - blind

scattered pieces

by flylikeaneagle

Lying on the floor. I spotted glass,
broken pieces, like my life, destroyed.
Anger, bitterness, shame and sorrow
spun my life into a storm of tears.

Salsa, purred on my feet as I picked
up the mirror shatters, large and small,
garbage to some, inspiration to a designer.
Pieces now, are glued on my artist board.

Life has turned around with hope and joy and love,
I have passions for my dreams again.
