True love

I Remember

by Katherine2

I remember a symphony
You played inside of me
How it lingers in my memory
Sheets gone this way and that,
Encompassing the journey, we were just entwined.

I remember looking in the mirror
Seeking your nakedness
Standing there.
How it lingers in my memory.

I remember speaking your name,
In ecstasy
How you caught it dripping off my breath.
And completed my fantasy.

Surreal to think, this was US
Floating together
On the hues of love.

I remember I couldn't wait,
For you to wake me up real late,
And empty my desire
Your instincts filled with fire....

I remember you reaching through my desperation
Connecting to my salvation
My being~flesh~MY heart.

Growing fervent with passion to your art,
I remember you grasping at,
My steeling needs

Bring me closer, to what heeds;

I DO remember how you touched Oh so deep
The soft held memories, while I slept.

Love, is what I remember.
