When We Met

The first time that I met you, you opened the door for me.
My first day cleaning the building, you a guard in security.
You left but left me breathless, I fell for you on sight.

I thought "I must see him again." I hatched a plan that night.
I locked up all the office doors, knowing you had the key.
I called you on the radio,"please open the doors for me."
You seemed completely puzzled, you'd checked the doors before.
It was all your fault looking so handsome in the uniform you wore.
You caught on quick, kept coming around and soon we both came to see.
That I was always meant for you and you were meant for me.
Now all of these years later, I'm so glad I locked those doors.
It led to a lifetime of loving, with a man I still adore.
