Daily Dose of Hell

by Ava Wilson

A new day approaches. I wake up to see what fresh hell awaits me, open my laptop, and see I have already received dozens of work emails. There is no food left in the house due to the late night snacking of my three teenagers. I decide to go grab everyone a biscuit. I go to my car and it reeks of marijuana. I discover that my son smoked a joint in my car with the windows up during the night. The girls start fighting over who took the last diet coke. At least today is better than yesterday.
