Having faith in your own heat and soul

Note to Self

by Ada Jewell

Faith to never undermine your worth.
Loving self,
beautiful as re-birth.

Your heart and soul are your best counterparts.
Faith in self, strengthens the soul,
and softens your heart.

Don’t give up when you still have more to give,
Faith only ends when you fail to live.

A fragile thread binds the heart and soul,
Self faith,
and hope to get to know.

No leading assaults on your self-esteem.
It’s not okay to be self mean.
Don’t run so fast that you forget,
where you have been.

Just love yourself,
that is where you win.

Faith Poetry Contest contest entry

We all struggle with faith, especially in having faith in ourselves. We are not always kind to ourselves. Note to Self!
