Grampa captures a crook

Grampa's Security Adventure

by GE Parson

Men love darkness more then light
For obvious reasons, I'm sure you know.
Under the dark of darkness,
Bad people can do evil things, as you know.

But that wasn't true at the Francisco Grande
(A fancy club house restaurant in Casa Grande Az.)
Because Security officer Grampa G. E. Parson was on duty.
More than one would-be crook found out
They couldn't get away with stealing bootee.

One such would-be money thief one night
Felt the wrath of officer Grampa G. E. Parson as he tried
To break into the Duke's bar to steal some booze,
But Officer G. E. Parson was on duty and cut off his flight.

When he saw my shadow coming around the corner,
He dropped his loot and started to run,
G.E. Parson picked up a loose stone lying close by,
And being a former major league base ball pitcher,
He cocked back his arm and his bell rung.

He dropped like a hot horse shoe from a bare hand,
G.E. jumped on his back and stuck his pen behind his ear,
Clicked his tongue and gave him his Miranda speech,
"You make one move and I'll blow your brains out from here to there!"

Was he ever surprised when he found out my gun
Was nothing more then a ball point pen.
Now if you believe all of this my friend,
Ol' Grampa G. E. Parson has just pulled your leg again,
And you have just wasted five minutes reading
Another spoof by G. E. Parson.
