by Dolly'sPoems

The town was filled with memories
as there we shared our vows,
and in the ambient air we felt the love.

As everywhere, so cleverly, sweet Jasmine
showered from above, cascading in the
reverie of spring and summer fun,

We walked and talked and gazed upon the moon,
as very soon the night consumed the day.
We lazed on sand and chased the waves,
those moments when we made our future plans,
are now a distant memory
and into photographs are truly stamped.

Now time has aged the scene and changed the view,
the town still grows those yellow golden blooms,
and on the beach the old and new infuse,
I hear some voices making future plans.

Between my toes the surf is cold and memories I find
in old routines, the remedies, now sink into the sand.
