This work has reached the exceptional level
Love could save the world.

Wouldn't it be nice

by Willie P. Smith

Wouldn't it be nice?

If there was only warmth
And love in everyone,
If all sadness was replaced
With happiness and fun.

If people really cared
About the welfare of others,
If we truly loved
our sisters and brothers.

If there was no hunger,
No sickness or greed.
No people in want,
No people in need.

If there were no wars,
No reason to kill.
Only lasting peace,
Harmony and good will

If before we become angry,
We would think twice.
If we could forgive
Wouldn't it be nice?

A dream of love and peace, Wouldn't it be nice?
