Reviewing Question

If a reviewer says they "don't understand what is going on in this paragraph", do you believe this is important information for the writer to know? If so, why or why not?

RE: Reviewing Question

That depends on whether it's the fault of your writing or of the reviewer's perception. If the reviewer makes other perceptive comments, then take notice. If she/he clearly doesn't understand the genre, or common writing techniques, then wait to see what other reviewers say.
