I just received a large grant in the mail from Tyndale university/seminary to finish in September studying in English. I'm very excited. They have courses in C.S. Lewis even. I hope the virus is gone by then, lol. :0))

Jesse James Doty: Congratulations, Ross!
-

joycetreasures: Congratulations!!! -

Ross E Silke: Thanks so much! It's seven with three zeros, God's perfect number seven. :0)) I didn't want to say but feel ok to now. I've never been offered anything like that in my academic history. I hope to teach someday. :0)) -

If your religion has led you to feel a need to pray that people will die as a result of this appalling pandemic, or to regard it as an answer to your prayers:

1) Your religion sucks.

2) You are in need of psychiatric help.

That's all, thanks.

It is really sad when only a few are so arrogant they mark down your work because you don't use big fancy words. My work comes from my heart. I don't plan on changing that for anyone. I truly in the Holy Spirit to help me with my work. May God bless us all to where we are kind to one another and not so rude.

Jannypan (Jan) : Never, never change for anyone! I admire your strength. Write On! -

Ideasaregems-Dawn: :((

Big hugs for my friend with a big heart.
Love,
Dawn -

Susanjohn: Aw Teri, don't you pay any attention to those people that can't appreciate your lovely poetry. You clearly write with a passion and hold firm to your beliefs. I have always admired your work. It's true and real and reflects your caring soul. You smile now :-)))) -

mrsmajor: My dear friend, the love of God shines in your work, let no one change you...your pen is truly Blessed...Hugs, -

Irish Rain: We love your writing exactly as it is Miss Teri. God bless you for sharing your faith, your love and your joy. -

Tootie: You keep on writing from your heart. Ignore those others. God Bless You! -

damommy: Don't you dare give up, Teri. Those who don't appreciate your poetry - it's their loss. -

I've loved writing since I was a child but the fear of rejection has stopped me from ever putting my work out there for the world. I thought it was about time for that to change and let others have a look inside my mind through my words.

My mission statement:
As a writer I am required to provide
an emotional experience deep and or wide
establish a connection to my reader at a visceral level
to my characters, my stories, my Gods or my devils
to take my readers on an emotional ride
if as a writer I should survive

As a writer I will try - to make my readers laugh or cry
to make my readers happy or sad - to make my readers sorry or glad
to make my reader feel more alive- so as a writer I should survive

Whether it be a story or poetry
whether it be fiction or history
whether I be telling the truth or outright lying
too make you feel something - I do be trying
