TheStoryMan: I got the news of Deans passing as soon as I got off work this morning - Im still just in shock of this and really sad and hurt that such a great writer that I met here is now not here anymore - not many poets blow me away and Ive been around the writing community in and out for many a year - Dean was a rare breed that I believe one day will be recognized for his brilliance and excellent way of writing - not just here on fanstory we all knew of his gift - but worldwide hes that good - Dean Ill miss ya buddy - I always looked forward to your post and reviews - a fellow Marine you took your writing to a different level bro - I salute you man - 9 pm last night the thunderstorms of thunderstorms passed thru Baltimore and crashed and stormed so bad it woke me out of a sound sleep - Im certain you were meeting Poe and wow the skies where the lightening was going ballistic and the thunder roaring like never before - I should have knew this wasn't normal and had a special meaning - God Bless and rest your soul to one of the best writers ever I got the pleasure to read and correspond with - Semper Fi brother - your friend Ron ! - August 23, 2019 at 3:25PM

I'm looking forward to Breast surgery, and I'm not afraid to say, I'm more than concerned....Big Hugs! - August 22, 2019 at 3:04PM
jlsavell: Julia, I don?t really know you but I understand.
I have had bi lateral hip replacement due to a severe injury, I ignored for years. The pain was unbearable. The surgery was the best thing for me. I, too, was a major wimp- hence waiting so long. But procrastination makes things worse. However I had the top orthopedic surgeons in the South. My recovery was easy. For me it was easy. I am now back to lightly jogging. I say running, but it isn?t. It?s just jogging. The surgery gave my life back and I am on top of the world. Thank goodness for modern day medicine to make replacements possible. I am 66 and truly I have never felt happier and healthier than I am now. I suppose it?s because I endured almost 10 years of debilitating pain. All because I was a wimp!
You take care. Do what you need to do. I do understand knee replacement is a little more difficult than hip replacement but by all means, follow your Doctors orders to the T. Don?t get crazy ideas in your head that you can do more. Take it easy and build up slowly. - August 22, 2019 at 3:17PM
juliaSjames: Big hug, many blessings and lots of white light being sent your way, mrsmajor. All is well. - August 22, 2019 at 3:19PM

mrsmajor: It seems life isn' t always the way we would like it to be...I do have some serious medical problems, which I deal with through the Grace of God....But just this week, I was told that I have breast cancer and will have to have surgery...My daughter just recovered from Breast cancer surgery too..I can only say what has been my support...Prayer...I know many don't believe in that, but God has allowed me to deal with a great deal...so I wish only the best for you...and I will Pray that you will be able to deal with the return of the Jasper Hill...I hope he leaves you alone, never to bother you again...A smile always helps me, and so I say to you, Smile as often as you can...be hopeful and God will be with you to see you through this too...Hugs! - August 22, 2019 at 12:19PM
Jannypan (Jan) : Dear Barb,
I will keep you in my prayers. Jan - August 22, 2019 at 3:10PM
To you and Victoria. When faced with difficulties, we often find a certain strength we didn?t realize we had. Cancer is a diagnosis which frightens us all, but I truly believe it?s the power of the human spirit and will which demands we first accept the truth and circumstance, and then gather our determination to give it all we have to fight. My thoughts and energy of good will, courage, and healing are sent to you both.
We live in such an-opportune age of astounding knowledge and understanding to aid us in such a journey should it knock on our doors. Please take care - August 22, 2019 at 4:19PM

Recently, we have received credible intelligence that there have been seven terrorists working in your office. Six of the seven have been apprehended. Bin Sleepin, Bin Loafin, Bin Goofin, Bin Lunchin, Bin Drinkin, and Bin A$$-Kissin have all been taken into custody. At this time, no one fitting the description of the seventh cell member, Bin Workin, has been found at your office. We are confident that anyone who looks like s/he's Bin Workin will be very easy to spot. You are OBVIOUSLY not a suspect at this time. So keep on doing what you Bin Doing. [anonymous]
