-A very good image, Ben.
-I remember visiting Wash. D.C.
and the Memorial shown there.
-This is a good story that
shows how Clara is determined
to help her husband.
-I can't begin to imagine what
they are going through.
-For her, it must be like
walking on egg shells.
-It sounds like Si Wee has some
means of helping people like Gary.
-Thanks for sharing it.

Sounds like a daunting task to help another person get the help he/she needs. You're making steps. Not sure what getting nails done helps with the overall problem. But you told the story well.

This is my first time reading. I missed your previous work, but this is very well written and kept my interest all the way through. I like that Clara includes God in dealing with what I assume is Gary's PTSD. IT's good to be addressing this.

Hi Ben, it's a short chapter indeed and I do hope you will finish writing it because I like the story line and it's well written.
Clara backed the Honda Civic out of the garage while Gary sit in his pickup truck listening to music.= Ignore the editor, it has to be 'sat' otherwise you'll have two different senses in one sentence. All the best, my friend, Ulla:))

Ben, This is another very well written chapter my friend. Please check this out:
sever emotional distress or physical reactions might be the reminder of
severe ?
, she noticed one of Gary's Army beer drinking buddies pulling into their driveway.
Gary's Army, beer drinking, .....
Not sure if that needs the commas

Blessings, Teri

Thanks Terri. It depends on how you read it about the comma. The severe has been corrected. I appreciate you and your help. My blessings. Jesu is at the door. Get ready.

I think when it comes to recovering from trauma, each person has to find his or her own solution. What works for one won't work for another. The story, as written, is engaging, with enough foreshadowing to keep the reader interested.

As for the editor, I think you may need computer repair, or may need to turn that computer feature off.

Thank you for posting an addition to the previous posts. I do like this story and am positive it will give a lot of people a realistic perspective on the complications our soldiers face when they return home. Thank you

Combat is not the only cause for this sickness. I will explain something I hope will spread the awearness. The Mayo Clinic has interesting findings I think could help some find their way back to reality. Combat does play a big part with some of our Vets, but not all. Catch the next post and if you have someone who could have an interestthen share the info in order to maybe help a loved one. Spiritual is only one means, but the best. Thanks Barb.

Oh I agree with you wholeheartedly Ben, the devil tries to trick us into believing the lie and not the truth, it takes resolve to trust the Lord, that brings the blessing and the miracle, I meet my close friend and pastor for coffee, prayer and encouragement every Friday morning, (doing it for many years) we encourage each other in the faith. We talk about this all the time. The devil's a subtle B, beautifully written Ben, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo : Gary Wheeling (sit) quietly...sat? 2: sever(e) emotional distress. 3; while Gary sit(s) in his... it depends on what tense it is, don't take TOO much notice of the spellchecker Bro.

The grimmer thing I have sometimes drives me wild. I use sat and they say sit or sits. Yes, I did misspell severe Thanks Bro. Catch the next post. Perhaps it will clue you into hidden knowledge you can share with your Pastor.

Good to see you are back. I am there any time I see you name in my messages. Is there really an answer to ptsd?
My son-in-law had one incident after Vietnam and he decided that alcohol caused it. So he never took another drink. Not one beer when all the men around him drank. He was an amazing man. Well done. Can't wait to hear the answer. Nancy:)

This is a well penned and compelling read. I have trouble with the grammar tool myself as it will get adamant about what it wants whether it makes sense or not LOL. I enjoyed this and thank you very much for sharing it.
