Tatarka2: My essay, "Bui Doi," which is the first story I wrote for FS, will be published in "Adoption Today" in their April edition. Thanks so much for asking and for all of the support and encouragement from all of you! -
Tatarka2: I have a poem that I've written in a specific shape. It doesn't work unless it's printed in exactly that shape. I've tried & tried to post it that way, gotten advice from Tom, and even had a computer expert come over yesterday to help me out. It still doesn't post in that shape, so I've deleted it. Does anybody have any ideas that could help me? I know some of you have posted poems in alternative shapes. How did you do it? -
Tatarka2: I am thrilled to announce that a flash fiction piece I wrote, "A Late Appointment," has been chosen as a finalist in Fiction Southeast's 2015 fiction competition. This is the first piece I ever submitted to FanStory. It's a true story that I've always believed in, and I've been shopping it around for the last couple of years, hoping it would find a home. It will be published in an upcoming issue of this journal. I'm really excited. Thanks you to all of you FanStory supporters and friends, who have offered so much encouragement and good advice. I appreciate all of you. -
Michaelk: That's fantastic! Congratulations!
When I get a minute I'm going to go back and read it.
It's always great to hear Fanstorians' success stories. :) -
